Island time, here we come! While Australia’s weather is currently flipping between 40-degree heatwaves and sudden cold snaps, one of our closest island neighbours is serving up guaranteed tropical warmth – and right now, flying there is cheaper than usual.

To mark 75 years in the skies, Fiji Airways has just launched a massive ‘Thank You’ global sale, offering slashed fares to its namesake island, alongside Japan, Singapore, Los Angeles, Honolulu and more. The sale is live now and runs until November 3, giving you plenty of time to get your ducks in order.

One-way fares to Fiji start at just $289 from Western Sydney, $299 from Sydney, $305 from Brisbane, Melbourne and the Gold Coast, or $309 from Cairns. For the return trip, you’re looking at fares from $639 – but we don’t blame you if you decide not to come home.

The sale also includes one-way flights to Samoa from $365, Singapore from $449, Japan from $585 and Hong Kong from $615. You can even cross the Pacific with flights to Honolulu from $499, Los Angeles from $529, San Francisco from $599 and Vancouver from $899. Every flight includes a stopover in Fiji, meaning you’ll get your island time fix no matter where you go.

Travel dates vary depending on the destination, but are available between October 2026 and September 2027. You can explore more destinations and dates here.
