Housed in what was once part of the medieval shoemakers’ guild premises, this quirky museum details the cobbler’s craft, from Roman sandals to ’70s platform boots. The earlier examples are reproductions, while those from the 17th century to the present day are originals, including clogs, swagged musketeers’ boots and even celebrity footwear, such as the tiny shoes of diminutive cellist Pau Casals.
