Iraq El Kheir

Iraq El Kheir in Hamra, is a simple cafe serving up some very filling, very tasty food. It’s bright and airy inside, with plenty of seating and a variety of ornaments decorating the wall. The place has a really local feeling, and it’s more than likely if you go to Iraq el Kheir you’ll be sharing the space with a couple of taxi drivers, someone smoking nargilleh and a couple of guys playing backgammon. The food served is Iraqi – as the name suggests -  and rich in authentic tastes and flavours. Well worth checking out the Tashrib Chicken (soaked Iraqi bread in a special sauce with chicken).
