Zum Schmutzigen Hobby is a trashy, schlocky-fabulous place, where an up-for-it crowd congregate nightly for hijinks and low-down boogie. You’ll find the cream of the Berlin's queer scene here, as well as the occasional international celebrity sighting – Rupert Everett and Tara Reid have been spotted here, slumming it in style. It’s in Friedrichshain, on Revaler Strasse, and whilst the space is perhaps a little eccentric, it offers a very friendly, easygoing atmosphere for trans folk, gays, lost tourists and local bohos and hipsters. Boogie down at one of the Zum's weekly events, from bangin' bingo nights to boogie-worthy drag shows.
