Founded in 2011, Omerice has always been a top choice among Hongkongers when it comes to this beloved Japanese staple. Aside from offering the typical wrap-style omurice, the restaurant also does the classic dish by blanketing the rice with an omelette that opens like a flower when pierced – a showstopper dish, really. Try its signature eel omurice ($128) or opt for other flavoured fillings such as pork ($98), seafood ($168) and even truly innovative ones like dong yum gong ($168), and you’ll understand why foodies fall in love with this place despite its relatively high price tag.
