Neve Tzedek / HaTachana

As the first Jewish neighborhood to be built outside the old city of the ancient port of Jaffa, Neve Tzedek still retains its charm today. The neighborhood is great for strolling and shopping around. The main drag of Shabazi Street is filled with boutique clothing stores and quaint furniture and trinket shops. Head over to HaTachana train station complex, at the very end of Shabazi Street, for some delicious Italian, tapas, or kosher food, local coffee shops, and art galleries. There are often events and performances in the area.
