This weekend, fitness-loving women of Jozi will assemble to engage in the highly anticipated GLOW Johannesburg experience where they will align, refuel and glow in energised workout sessions.

Presented by Wholesome Women (WW), GLOW was initially supposed to take place over a single session; however, due to high demand, the fitness gathering has been extended to two sessions.
Last year’s sold-out inaugural session was equally successful, attracting 250 women to what the organisers describe as an immersive celebration of modern womanhood.
These will take place at the Fourways Mall Centre Court on Saturday, 3 October, with the first session kicking off at 9:00 AM and the second taking place at 4:00 PM.
GLOW is the intersection where movement, wellness, beauty, nutrition, personal growth and meaningful connection meet, amplifying the confidence of women and helping them become the best versions of themselves.
These are all woven into GLOW’s five pillars of move, align, fuel, glow and connect.
WW co-founder Tamaryn Nicholson said, “GLOW is about creating an experience rather than simply another event. We want women to walk away feeling like they have moved their bodies, filled their cups, learnt something new, connected with other women and, most importantly, had a genuinely great time.”
Her co-founder, Shantal Moeko, emphasised that adding a second session to the event meant that the experience could be made accessible to more women.
The resounding response to GLOW prompted WW to expand to Durban in June this year, transforming the movement into a national women’s wellness platform.

The expansion received the same level of support from women in Durban, with the first batch of tickets selling out in just three days.
For the organisers, the goal is to create communities of South African women by uniting them through experiences that aim to connect them.
