For Taiwanese-style hot pot in Old Klang Road, Taiwanese F&B chain Chien Yen Catering has opened Chunciou Hot Pot, essentially a sukiyaki buffet. A must-order is the smooth tendon-free General Marbled Beef with an even distribution of fat, served on a platter of dry ice for smokey theatrics. Expect more than 40 types of meatballs, seafood items and vegetables, six Taiwan-based soups and signature appetisers such as mango lotus, salted green soybean, braised pork rice and more.
