The Event Sculpture

Every other Monday for four months, one of nine different artists will present an individual work outside the Institute’s facade. Whether using objects, performance or moving images, and lasting from a few seconds to a few hours, each event seeks to challenge the perception of sculpture as durable and static. From Tuesday February 3 the seven previous sculptures will move inside the gallery, followed by the final two events, transforming the works from public to private encounters.
