It’s been almost five months since the elusive London nightclub-in-a-cinema Lost closed its doors on Shaftesbury Avenue. The no-phones club has been teasing Londoners about its return for weeks, and now we finally have some answers.

In an Instagram post, the club shared that it was going to be taking over the former London College of Fashion building. Quite apt given that many of the club’s attendees are art school and fashion students.

'Lost community,’ the post wrote. ‘We have secured the former London College of Fashion. An entire block on Oxford Street to reimagine the heart of London, we want to build this with you.’

Separately, in an Instagram story, Lost said: ‘We are creating a space for new forms of nightlife, culture and art in the heart of London. We need your support to secure our premises licence’.

The club had previously said it would return in November with a ‘24-hour district’. However, there is no mention of an official opening date in their most recent post.

Lost became something of a sensation after it opened in March 2025 thanks to its exclusive nature, no-phones policy and secret line-ups. Inside its many rooms, it had cinema screenings, live bands, DJs and hidden cocktail bars. Celebrities who were spotted there included Charli xcx, Olivia Rodrigo and Central Cee.

A beloved east London record store is at risk of closure.
