As a city that is regularly named one of the best on the entire planet, London attracts a lot of people. Millions and millions of people from around the world touch down in England’s capital city each year in order to get a glimpse of the London Eye, Big Ben, the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace and more for themselves. But how does its number of visitors compare to the rest of the world?
Market research company Euromonitor has done some digging and revealed which cities saw the most international arrivals in 2025. London welcomed 22.7 million visitors in 2025, making it the third most visited city in the world and the most visited in Europe. That’s a four percent increase on last year’s visitor count.
London was beaten only by Bangkok, which received 30.3 million international visitors and Hong Kong, which saw 23.2 million. The only other European city in the top 10 was Paris, which had 18.3 million visitors. See the full list here.
