Thsi is intriguing new play is a headphones based work of horror theatre from writer-director Jamie Armitage and sound designers Ben and Max Ringham, the follow-up to his acclaimed self-penned debut An Interrogation, and – less recently – his co-directing job on the massive hit musical Six.
A Ghost In Your Ear follows an actor booked in for a last minute audiobook recording job, on a work he hasn’t seen a script for: before long the horrors start to escape the page and enter the studio.
Not for the faint of heart, it’s explicitly billed as a work of horror designed to scare you – you have been warned.
