Hard Rock Stadium is set for a huge summer. Miami will host four group-stage matches and three knockout-round games during the 2026 World Cup, bringing some of the tournament’s biggest names—and their fans—to Miami Gardens. With Brazil, Uruguay, Portugal and Colombia all scheduled to play here, the city’s soccer crowds are in for a packed, high-energy few weeks.
Here’s everything you need to know: the full match schedule, what to expect inside the stadium, how to get there and how to actually score tickets.

What to expect at Hard Rock Stadium
Hard Rock Stadium can seat more than 65,000 fans and is built for major events: Super Bowls, the Miami Open, the F1 Miami Grand Prix and, increasingly, top-tier soccer. Last summer, it hosted matches for the FIFA Club World Cup, which served as a good test run for the large, loud crowds the real deal will bring.
As a bonus, the stadium has a canopy-style roof, which will give partial shade and a break from the brutal mid-summer sun. Inside, there are wide concourses and plenty of concessions, so moving around will be easy even during the most popular matches. (Bottlenecks will mainly happen outside, so time your arrival accordingly!)
How to get to the stadium
- Car: It usually takes 30–45 minutes from downtown via I-95 or the Turnpike, but expect much longer travel times on match days. Locals say that the north approach via NW 27th Ave is the least painful route during major events.
- Transit: Take the Metrorail to Golden Glades and then get on Metrobus 297.
- Brightline: Ride to Aventura Station, then connect to the event-day shuttle.
- Rideshare: Usually $40–$60 from central neighborhoods; use the designated drop-off zones.
How to buy World Cup tickets
Tickets to the World Cup are sold exclusively through FIFA’s official portal. Create a FIFA account, verify your ID and sign up for alerts early—inventory will drop in waves and sell out quickly, so definitely keep that in mind. Prices vary by matchup, but you can expect Miami’s group-stage games to demand prices in the mid-hundreds, with marquee teams pushing resale prices higher. Knockout ticket price will likely surge as soon as the bracket starts to take shape.
