Some people like their martinis with a twist. Others consider the olive jar a mixer. If you're in the latter camp, clear some space on your calendar: A machine that lets you customize your own savory martini is coming to the Lower East Side next week, with fried chicken on the side.

CÎROC has unveiled its "Martini Machini," which the vodka brand bills as a first-of-its-kind interactive, self-serve martini-mixing machine. On Friday, November 6 from 4pm to 10pm, New Yorkers can take it for a spin at Tender’s & ’Tinis, a one-day pop-up at Sommwhere (48 Ludlow Street) hosted in partnership with Dave’s Hot Chicken.

Martini-loving guests can adjust their preferred ratio of brine, choose garnishes and customize their quaff from six options. The contraption exists to show off CÎROC’s new signature cocktail, the Messy Martini. Made with the brand’s grape-based vodka, classic pickle brine and banana pepper brine, it takes the dirty martini into tangier territory. (Purists, you may need a moment!)

For the New York outing, the collaboration adds a bespoke Dave’s Hot Chicken brine. Guests can customize their Messy Martini while sampling exclusive menu offerings from the beloved chicken chain. Here’s the especially useful bit: Attendees who RSVP for free will receive a machine-made martini and a Dave’s Hot Chicken meal item. (There will also be exclusive merchandise bearing both brands’ names, if your commitment to chicken and cocktails extends to your wardrobe.)

The launch also includes something for home bartenders. Beginning November 1, customers in select cities who order a 750ml bottle of CÎROC through Uber Eats may receive cocktail mix from garnish brand Filthy Foods. Complimentary Filthy add-ons will also appear on CÎROC bottles at retailers nationwide.

But the machine itself is the draw here, especially if your usual martini order requires several follow-up questions about acceptable brine levels. Here's your chance to get very particular.
