You may never have the hamstrings of a Rockette, but this holiday season, you can at least get a better look at what they’re doing. The annual Christmas Spectacular is adding live cameras around Radio City Music Hall’s stage, giving audiences fresh angles on all that famously synchronized fancy footwork.

The 2026 production, which will run from November 4, 2026, through January 4, 2027, will beam footage onto two screens flanking the stage during every number. Discreetly positioned cameras will capture overhead, side and front views, letting you appreciate the dancers’ formations from above or watch the iconic kickline from the wings.

It’s the first time the production has utilized screens to show its live onstage action. The addition follows last year’s introduction of Radio City’s Sphere Immersive Sound system and joins a theatrical toolbox that already includes digital projections, holographic animations and fairy drones.

There’s a new reason to watch those feet, too. “Ring,” a contemporary tap number set to “Carol of the Bells,” joins the show this year, bringing the total to 10 Rockettes performances—the most in the production’s history.

Emmy Award-nominated choreographer Chloé Arnold, whose credits include the movie musical Spirited and the tap group Syncopated Ladies, developed the number with the show’s resident creative team. It starts with three Rockettes in silhouette, gradually building until all 36 dancers unite for a final kickline.

“Hearing and seeing 36 women moving as one powerful instrument is breathtaking,” Arnold said.

Naturally, the wardrobe hasn’t been left out of the spectacle: Each complete “Ring” look features more than 3,600 crystals, with black-and-silver dresses, sparkling shoe spats, shoulder epaulets and glittering headpieces designed like a shimmering bell. The accessories were fabricated in the city using 3D printing, while each dancer’s mesh, tights and shoes are matched to her skin tone.

And the taps won’t get lost beneath the bells, either, since the dancers’ shoes will carry Radio City’s patented wireless microphones, allowing the audience to hear their footwork clearly.

Tickets are on sale now, starting at $50 when purchased in person at Radio City’s box office, at 1260 Sixth Avenue between West 50th and 51st Streets, or $55 online.
