Review
Les Bains – the legendary, slightly wild club that put the Marais on the map in the ’80s and welcomed the likes of Nicholson, Warhol and Saint Laurent – is now a seven-storey luxury hotel. While the place has clearly evolved, the spirit is (almost) still intact. Downstairs, the iconic black-and-white tiled dancefloor lives on, still hosting sweaty parties – pool included.
The 39 rooms and suites are spacious, filled with artworks, luxe materials like marble and fine wood, and nods to the hotel’s flamboyant past. The building strikes a sleek balance between high-end design, refined furniture and art everywhere you look.
As for the restaurant and bar, Roxo, the high-end cocktails (yes, they’re pricey) are a real highlight. Everything is served in a spectacular setting – you’ll feel as if you’re eating somewhere that’s straight out of a film.
Room price: From €250 per night
Standout feature: The legendary nightclub
