Cheah Kongsi

Visitors to this clan house will spot classic Chinese architecture and the surprising addition of British lion heads as well. The lions are a symbol of the loyalty of the Straits Chinese community towards the British colonial powers. The Cheah clan is especially well-known as it is one of the oldest Hokkien clans in the state.
