Tygas, there’s good news if you were hoping to catch Tyla next year. Her Johannesburg show is moving to Pretoria, with a second date added at SunBet Arena. That means two nights of Tyla at SunBet Arena, with shows happening on 8 and 9 January 2027.

The 9 January show was first announced for Johannesburg’s Nasrec Expo Centre.
The venue change is partly down to possible Highveld thunderstorms, while fans have also been asking for a seated option, promoters Showtime Management and Anything Goes say.
The 8 January show has been added following demand from fans. This won’t be Tyla’s first time at SunBet Arena. She sold out the Pretoria venue in 2025 and will return next January with music from her latest album, A*POP.
Got your Tyla ticket? Don’t panic
If 9 January is already in your diary, your ticket is safe. Existing tickets have been transferred to SunBet Arena in the same category, so there’s no need to purchase a new one.
Fans who already bought tickets have been contacted directly with details on the venue move and any replacement tickets or refunds.
Both Pretoria dates are now listed on Ticketmaster, where fans can buy tickets.
For either Pretoria date, head to Ticketmaster for tickets, with seated tickets starting from R895, excluding the service fee. Johannesburg’s original date may be gone, but there’s now another night of Tyla waiting in Pretoria. We’re not complaining.
