Phuket’s weekend starts on Thursday with Follador and Corte Rugolin wines and canapés at Woodland Cafe in Cherngtalay. Friday and Saturday bring Made By Pete and FNX Omar to Café del Mar’s Club Room in Kamala. For dinner, there’s an all-you-can-eat steak finale above Karon on Sunday or a hom and Haōma collaboration at InterContinental Phuket Resort on Saturday. Plan the latter two ahead: the steak night requires a table deposit and the dinner is a one-night event. Steaks, sound systems or a seat at the chef’s table – take your pick.

At hom in InterContinental Phuket Resort, chef Marcelo Baruch joins Deepanker ‘DK’ Khosla of Bangkok’s Michelin-starred and Green Star-awarded Haōma for a one-night dinner. Haōma’s contemporary Indian cooking draws on its urban aquaponics farm and a ‘Grow to Give Back’ approach; hom works with local ingredients and fermentation. That makes the meeting of the two kitchens more interesting than the usual guest-chef namecheck. The draft bills it as nine courses, but the published event listing does not confirm the course count or a dish-by-dish menu. Ask hom for the final menu if that matters to your booking. Moroccan DJ and producer FNX Omar returns to Café del Mar’s ROOTS night with the hypnotic rhythms and deep melodies that have made him a fixture of Afro house. His route from hip-hop and breakbeats into electronic music gives his sets plenty of room to move; expect the Club Room to do the same. Doors open at 10pm and entry is restricted to ages 20 and over. Prefer a wine tasting that leaves room in the budget for dinner? Woodland Cafe Restaurant & Bar in Cherngtalay brings together two family estates from Italy’s Veneto region: Follador, known for its sparkling wines, and Corte Rugolin, whose reds include Valpolicella and Amarone. Cristina Follador and Elena Coati will introduce the wines over canapés. The advertised selection includes both bubbles and reds, though the organiser and event listings disagree on the number of wines, so check the final line-up when booking. Italian chef Guido Orben’s regular menu runs from burgers and pizza to pasta and steaks, but Sunday is for the restaurant’s final all-you-can-eat event of 2026. The three-hour sitting starts at 4pm, leaving time to work through the steaks while the light changes over the coast. It’s B999 before VAT, or B1,399 with free-flow wine. Children aged six to 12 are B599 and those aged five or under eat free. Book ahead: a B500 deposit per person secures the table and is deducted from the bill.  Oct 4. From B999 plus 7% VAT. London DJ and producer Made By Pete has played Ibiza clubs including Pacha, Hï and Space, as well as Sydney’s Chinese Laundry, Koh Phangan’s Full Moon Party and Studio 338 back home. ‘Horizon Red’, featuring Zoe Kypri, brought him wider attention and an official BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix followed. His sets move through deep and melodic house, with soulful vocals, textured synths and ambient loops; his debut album Rosebank gives him newer material to draw on, too. Bronx brothers Chris and Steve Martinez were playing clubs worldwide before they had finished high school. Their house sets have since taken them across Europe, the US and Australia, with an Ibiza residency at Hï Ibiza following a decade at Circoloco. Their reach extends into fashion too: they created music for Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy menswear and womenswear collections. At Illuzion, expect dark, raw house grooves, cut-up vocals and psychedelic loops – including flashes of Donna Summer and George Duke stretched into long, hypnotic passages. Sep 24. PEYLAA Phuket is pairing floral styling with handcrafted chocolate for a workshop built around taking your time. Shape wildflowers into living art during the guided floral session, then learn how origin, aroma and texture affect chocolate as you taste creamy milk chocolate. Jet-lagged, low on energy or nursing a head that feels like a tambourine? Icellare and FIRA Recovery Club have joined forces for a one-day wellness session featuring hydration infusions, hot-and-cold therapies, infrared saunas and steam rooms. Among the options is the ‘Myers’ cocktail’, a mineral-and-vitamin infusion named after physician John Myers. Oktoberfest began with a Munich royal wedding in 1810 and eventually shifted into September for warmer weather. Phuket, conveniently, has that part covered. Im En Ville, the all-day restaurant inside Porto de Phuket, is channelling Bavaria with folk dancing in lederhosen and dirndls, long-table conviviality and plates of sausages, pretzels and herb-roast chicken. Thailand-born, Germany-based DJ and producer Nakadia has travelled from rural Isan to some of the world’s biggest stages. A 2002 set by Marusha sparked her obsession with techno, although club owners initially resisted the uncompromising sound that later took her to Sankeys, Ushuaïa and Tomorrowland and onto labels including Intec and Filth On Acid. Expect bold, high-energy techno, from the fuzzed-out psychedelia of ‘Acid Storm’, the melody of ‘Tale of Khonburi’ and the speed of ‘The Red Queen’. For a gentler evening, Aqua Bar at COMO Point Yamu looks across Phang-Nga Bay as the sun sinks behind a sea of limestone islets. The five-star resort’s poolside lounge is all cool whites, clean lines and open sky, with cocktails, smoothies, healthy juices and ice-cold beer on the menu.
