Gather to ring in 2026 with fireworks, live music, drone shows, and more

Another year is drawing to a close, and we’re eager to send off 2025 with a bang – and there’s no better way to do so than with a round of countdown fireworks and pumping beats. No matter where you plan to be with your loved ones this December 31, there are plenty of NYE countdown events happening across Singapore, ranging from big bashes in town to cosier family-friendly ones in the heartlands. Read on for the lowdown.
The largest NYE countdown event this year is an epic one at Singapore Sports Hub, headlined by Korean pop group Super Junior, who will be performing alongside homegrown musicians including Benjamin Kheng, DJ Farah Farz, and more. As a special treat, there will be a whopping 35 minutes of dazzling fireworks throughout the span of the high-octane party.
Another large-scale one in town is the Marina Bay Singapore Countdown 2026, which includes live music at Esplanade, light art projections on the facade of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, designed by artists with disabilities, festive showcase Togetherland by World Christmas Market, and, of course, all these will culminate in a spectacular burst of fireworks.
There’s also a countdown at CQ @ Clarke Quay, featuring music by homegrown bands and DJs, drone shows along the Singapore River, and art installations.
Yes, there will be seven sites with neighbourhood celebrations on December 31, and all of them are free to enter to foster a sense of community. These heartland events typically feature fireworks displays, live music performances, carnival games, and pop-up food stalls, although the exact lineup for each one varies. The complete list of programmes will be announced on the People’s Association website in early December.
