The Titans are stomping to a stage near you. Attack on Titan: The Musical debuts at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, in April 2027.

Presented by Base Entertainment Asia, the original Japanese production brings the wildly popular manga Attack on Titan to stage in an immersive musical experience. This is its very first showing in Southeast Asia following successful runs in Osaka, Tokyo, and New York City between 2023 and 2025. In fact, it's sold-out New York show drew audiences from 48 US states and more than 20 countries – including fans from Singapore.

Directed by Go Ueki, the musical will focus on the manga's early chapters. Presented in Japanese with English surtitles, it brings Attack on Titan's dystopian world and its giant, man-eating Titans to life through a distinctly Japanese theatrical tradition called 2.5-dimensional theatre, which uses costumes, choreography, stage effects, and visual design to bring 2D worlds onto the 3D stage.

One more thing for fans to look forward to – 'Guren no Yumiya', the iconic opening theme from the first season of the anime.

Written by Hajime Isayama, Attack on Titan is one of the best-selling manga of all time, selling more than 150 million copies worldwide. Its anime adaptation broke global audience records, with multiple episodes ranking among the highest-rated TV episodes on IMDb. It has also spawned a live-action movie and miniseries, as well as novels and video games.

The manga is set in a world where the last remnants of humanity live trapped behind three massive, concentric walls that keep the Titans out. The story follows Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackermann, and Armin Arlert – three childhood friends drawn into humanity's fight for survival after the Titans breach the walls protecting their home. They join the military's elite Survey Corps, and along the way, discover dark secrets about the Titans' origins and a complex global conflict waiting outside the walls.

UOX x Klook priority access is now live with 20% off until November 1. UOB x MBS/Sistic early bird and general public on-sale both open at 10am on October 14 – with 20% off for UOB cardholders and 15% off for general buyers until November 1. Standard ticket prices range from $58 to $188.

Get tickets via Marina Bay Sands, Klook, and Sistic.

Attack on Titan: The Musical runs from April 15 to May 2, 2027 at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands.
