As Christmas lights start to dim and striking red Chinese New Year decorations slowly make their annual reappearance, rehearsals for Chingay 2026 are quietly underway. Held at the F1 Pit Building at Marina Bay on two evenings, on February 27 and 28, this year’s edition comes with the theme ‘Wish’ – an invitation for us to dream big together for Singapore’s future.

Once again, the Chingay street parade is set to dazzle the circuit with its intricately designed floats and stunning performances with catchy music and choreography. It’s more than just a Chinese New Year celebration – it’s an ode to our local multi-faceted culture that all of us are able to relate to.

If you’d like to familiarise yourself with the Chingay 2026 theme song ahead of the parade, check it out here – it’s available on multiple streaming platforms including but not limited to Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube.

From now to December 31, 2025, cast a vote for your favourite Chingay 2026 mural, with each of the 10 designs celebrating Singapore’s diversity and Chingay’s history. Voters stand to win 20,000 yuu points worth $100, and lucky PAssion members will get to earn double the amount, with a total of 1 million points to be won.
