Time Out says

This bustling nine-storey shopping complex, located on Singapore’s most popular shopping stretch, houses a diverse mix of over 300 retail, dining, and entertainment options, catering to locals and tourists alike. Plaza Singapura is where you’ll find Southeast Asia's largest Muji flagship store – perfect for picking up all your wabi-sabi home essentials. When it’s time to fuel up, pop over to popular American fast food chain Five Guys for diner-style cheeseburgers and crispy fries.

It’s also a mall that hobbyists frequent, thanks to plenty of specialised hobby stores throughout, ranging from craft shops and Lego to K-pop and even a knife store. Its highest floor is where you’ll find a figurine collector’s paradise: Simply Toys is your go-to for movie character figurines, from Marvel to Star Wars. Anime fans will be glad to know that Hakken! carries the widest variety of official anime merchandise. It also regularly hosts exclusive events and collaborations with popular anime titles. Check out the large Timezone arcade on the same floor to try your hand at games and win big.

Cortis Pop-Up in Singapore

Cortis fans, it’s time to 'Go!' The meteoric K-pop group bringing their pop-up experience and merch game to Plaza Singapura's L1 Main Atrium – and if their previous Redred and Greengreen pop-ups around the world are anything to go by, you’ll want to get there early. Since debuting in 2025, the five-member group has gone from promising rookies to bona fide global hitmakers, with tracks like ‘Go!’, ‘Fashion’, and ‘Redred’ racking up serious streams. Their second EP Greengreen even debuted third on the Billboard 200, while ‘Redred’ sped past 100 million Spotify streams in just 57 days. Not exactly a slow start. Now, you can get your hands on the official merch, from the much-anticipated light sticks, apparel and ball keyrings to everyday essentials including T-shirts, eco bags and caps. Take this as your pre-show warm-up before Cortis takes the Padang Stage at the Singapore Grand Prix on October 9 for their first Singapore show. The pop-up runs from October 2 to 25 at Plaza Singapura. Just remember to book your slot online before you turn up.
