Time Out says

Whether you’re dreaming of producing your own track or simply a hip-hop fan, this three-hour workshop hosted by art community & collective Seni Sini offers an inside look at the creative world of sampling. Dive into the session with local musicians Fauxe and Zeromemorythief as they flip and reimagine nostalgic Malay tunes from the ’60s and ’80s into bold, contemporary bangers. Bring your own selection of traditional tracks and learn the technique to chop, slice and layer the textures into a cohesive beat right before your eyes. It’s going to be a mindblowing session that blends heritage with innovation. And, who knows, you might just be on your way to becoming the next MF DOOM or J Dilla.

Not much of a music connoisseur? Don’t worry, there’s something for you to explore here, too. The Art Club has set up a corner where you can swing by to express yourself freely through drawing. Doodle, sketch and collaborate with others. Otherwise, just come and hang out and make friends with fellow creative heads while you enjoy the soulful beats in the background.
