When the leaves turn golden and you can see your breath on the air, thoughts across Switzerland turn to that cheesiest of national dishes – Raclette. ‘Tis the season, too, that gentrified Hotel Helvetia goes all Alpine kitsch with its appetising Raclette Stübli. Its covered, heated terrace is a haven of red check tablecloths and fur throws, while its menu features Raclette made with cheese by Maître Fromager Rolf Beeler, as well as other classics such as Gehacktes mit Hörnli. The cosy setting looks straight from the mountains, with vintage ski posters adorning the walls. Raclette is available for groups of 15 or more.
