Eclectic cushions and kooky artwork lend a fresh, vibrant feel to The Studio, a café-cum-bar close to Stadelhofen station in Zurich’s Seefeld area. Its ambience goes hand-in-hand with the fact it is built around Energy Zurich’s flagship radio studio. Take a seat on the green velveteen sofa that lines one wall to enjoy looking over the DJs’ shoulders while you sample a healthy breakfast, lunch or afterwork drinks. The menu includes a list of superfoods you can add to your selection, as well as freshly pressed juices, granola, salads, wraps, bagels and ciabatta. From 5pm, tapas is served. There is also an extensive bar and cocktail menu, and tempting cakes that are beautifully arranged as the first thing you see upon entering. Try the cheesecake, which is so creamy it will please the most discerning cheesecake lovers. Opened in 2015, The Studio is the latest venture under the Kramer Gastronomie umbrella, which also includes modern Asian Metropol, American-style Steinfels and French brasserie Quaglinos.
