Bauschänzli

The Bauschänzli beer garden and restaurant offers year-round entertainment and is located just along from the Frauenbad with stunning views over the water to the Grossmunster. In the warmer months, there's the Sommergarten - a pleasant beer garden and terrace on the banks of Zurich's Limmat river - where a band strikes up each afternoon and couples gently sway to old-time tunes. Zurich's famous Street Parade passes by in August and to round off the season, Oktoberfest celebrations are also held here. Then over Christmas, the Conelli Circus takes up residence to delight the young and young at heart. The self-service restaurant offers a range of food including summer snacks, sausages and fresh salads.
