K-pop fans of the Harbour City, we’ve got good news. After years of waiting, the multi-award-winning band BTS has confirmed dates for its massive 2026/27 world tour – and yes, Sydney is on the list. Set to be the biggest global K-pop tour of all time, BTS will perform 79 shows across 34 regions, with two dates locked in for the NSW regiment of the Aussie Army.
It’s been almost a decade since the seven-member group – RM, Jin, Jimin, V, Suga, Jung Kook and j-hope – first came to Australia for their Wings Tour in 2017. After entering a four-year hiatus in 2022 to complete South Korea’s mandatory military service, BTS is set to make its highly anticipated return in Goyang in April 2026. Fans can expect new music, along with the hope of hearing past hits like ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’. Here’s everything we know about BTS’ Australian tour so far.
As part of their massive 79-show world tour, BTS will perform in two Aussie cities. The Grammy-winning group will kick things off with two Melbourne shows on Friday, February 12 and Saturday, February 13, before heading to Sydney for back-to-back performances on Saturday, February 20 and Sunday, February 21. Venue details haven’t been announced yet, but we have no doubt they’ll be big stadium shows!
