The interactive digital art museum will impose face mask requirements and a new ticketing system for social distancing
Tokyo’s reopening plan is full steam ahead. Just one week after the state of emergency was lifted, businesses throughout Japan are beginning to reopen, starting with museums, libraries and department stores. Now, after a months-long closure, teamLab Planets Tokyo in Toyosu will reopen on Friday June 5, with three new safety measures to avoid the spread of Covid-19 coronavirus.
Tickets are limited and visitors will have to purchase e-tickets in advance. To avoid congestion, each ticket will have a designated date and 30-minute entry time slot.
Visitors who has any of the following conditions will be denied admission and given a full refund:
Visitors with any of the following symptoms will also be denied entry: fever, cough, dyspnea, general malaise, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, lack of smell or taste, pain or inflammation of the eyes, headache, joint or muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting.
The artwork ‘Soft Black Hole - Your Body Becomes a Space that Influences Another Body’ will remain temporarily closed.
