Get ready to celebrate the winter holidays early this year with a refreshing pint of Belgian brew at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building’s Sankaku Hiroba. Held for five days from December 3 to December 7, the Shinjuku edition of Belgian Beer Weekend will feature a lineup of over 70 different Belgian beers.
Find your favourite brew from popular labels like Chimay and Duvel to rarer beers like Omer Traditional Blond and Enghien d’Hiver. On top of that, there are a variety of stalls serving beer grub including Belgian meatballs, Belgian Lutosa ‘frites’, prosciutto, roast beef and more.
Coinciding with the holiday season, Belgian Beer Weekend will also be offering caramel and lycee praline chocolates from Belgian chocolatier Delrey – a perfect pairing to a bitter pint.
While entrance to the festival is free, you will need an original Belgian Beer Weekend 2025 glass and tokens to enjoy the drinks. Get the starter set for ¥3,700 (¥3,990 on the day); it comes with 13 tokens, which will get you three drinks. You can always purchase more tokens at ¥230 for one token, or purchase the new trial set for ¥2,700 (¥2,840), which gets you 8 tokens or roughly 2 drinks.
Purchase an advance ticket online now to avoid queues on the day.
