Here's everything to know about the buzzy new sci-fi series.

The future of Blade Runner has been revealed.
At New York Comic Con earlier this month, Prime Video unveiled the trailer for Blade Runner 2099, a new limited series based on the sci-fi film franchise. Ahead of the show's premiere next month, here's everything you need to know about the action-packed spinoff.
Based on Philip K. Dick’s 1968 novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?, the Prime Video series is set 50 years after the events of Blade Runner 2049.
“Los Angeles has been reborn, just not by humanity. Cora, a fugitive in a final bid to stop running, takes on one last identity: a Blade Runner,” the official logline reads. She’s forced to partner with a dying Replicant Olwen as she hunts down a runaway hiding a truth that could collapse the city.
The show is led by a formidable duo: Oscar winner Michelle Yeoh (Everything Everywhere All at Once) as Olwen and Hunter Schafer (Euphoria) as Cora. They are joined in the Blade Runner 2099 cast by:
The show is created and executive produced by Silka Luisa (Shining Girls), alongside the original film's director Ridley Scott. Jonathan van Tulleken (Lucky, Shogun) directs the first two episodes of the limited series and also serves as an executive producer. Steven Johnson is co-executive producer.
All eight episodes of the miniseries will arrive on Prime Video on Wednesday, November 25, just in time for a Thanksgiving weekend binge.
You can prepare for the show by renting or buying both the 1982 original film Blade Runner and the 2017 sequel movie Blade Runner 2049 on Prime Video.
