Disney+ isn’t only the place to watch animated movies and teen musicals—next year, it’s where you can watch the Super Bowl.

In a new deal with the National Football League, Disney+ and ESPN will livestream Super Bowl LXI on Sunday, February 14, alongside the traditional broadcasts on ABC and ESPN. It’s the first time ESPN has ever produced the Big Game.

RECOMMENDED: You can watch beloved Disney titles on Netflix starting this month

Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Lisa Salters and Laura Rutledge will lead ESPN's Super Bowl broadcast, and there will also be a Spanish-language telecast on ESPN Deportes.

Leading up to the Super Bowl, ESPN will transform California's Santa Monica Beach into ESPN Beach as a week-long broadcast hub for both ESPN and ABC beginning February 8, alongside a free fan experience on the Santa Monica Pier, including interactive games, immersive experiences and family-friendly entertainment.

Disney+ will stream regular season games, too, including the Dallas Cowboys at Philadelphia Eagles on Monday, October 26 (Week 7), with a second game to be announced. Over on the ESPN app, you can catch the games every Monday night, the ManningCast with Peyton and Eli on ESPN2 and all other Super Bowl Sunday studio programming. (Elsewhere in the world of streaming, NFL games will also be available to stream on Netflix, with five regular-season matchups scheduled through Super Bowl 2027, including the Green Bay Packers vs. Los Angeles Rams on Thanksgiving Eve.)

According to Deadline, the last time Disney broadcast the Super Bowl in any capacity was during George W. Bush’s administration. (The NFL championship game was broadcast by Disney-owned ABC on February 5, 2006.) NBC’s Peacock streamed this year’s Super Bowl, so it’ll be interesting to see how the Disney-led Super Bowl will take shape. Stay tuned!
