Irish Film Festival
The Irish Film Festival returns for its eighth edition, bringing contemporary drama and documentary to Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Organised by the Embassy of Ireland in Thailand, the programme includes Small Things Like These starring Cillian Murphy, Báite, Spilt Milk, Girls & Boys and A Quiet Love. Films screen in their original languages with Thai subtitles; Báite and the Irish Sign Language documentary A Quiet Love also have English subtitles. Bangkok screenings run at House Samyan on October 8-11, followed by SFX Cinema at MAYA Chiang Mai on October 23-25. Admission is free, with a maximum of two tickets per person available at the box office one hour before each screening. Seats are first come, first served, with no advance reservations.
