beabadoobee returns to Thailand for a third time, bringing songs from her new album Pylon to UOB Live, Emsphere

Anyone who still hums ‘Glue Song’ on their morning commute can start counting down, because beabadoobee returns to Bangkok next year. The Filipino-British singer-songwriter, real name Beatrice Laus, heads to UOB Live at Emsphere on April 2 2027 as part of The Powerlines Tour. It marks her third Thai show since the Beatopia tour first brought her here in 2022.

This time she arrives with a new record. Pylon, her fourth album, is out now and follows This Is How Tomorrow Moves, which gave her a first UK number one in 2024. The title refers to the electricity pylons she watches pass along the roads between gigs. For her, they're reminders of the family and friends she leaves behind whenever she tours.
Most of the 14 tracks begin as diary entries, written on the road and during breaks at home, about homesickness and the uncertainty of time away from the people she loves. ‘A lot of the songs on this record are things I wish I could have said to someone,’ she says. The guest list is strong too. Paramore’s Hayley Williams sings on ‘Nothing to Prove’, Turnstile’s Brendan Yates joins her on ‘Powerlines’ and the 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel produce ‘Write Me A Letter’.
beabadoobee plays UOB Live, Emsphere on Fri Apr 2 2027.
