Still stuck for plans as the year winds down? Here's a thought. Why not break out your swing moves?

Christmas Swing Fest brings riverside vibes and vintage jazz to Bangkok from December 25-28 at Anunta Cafe and Bistro, a spot tucked on the Thonburi side near Phuttha Bridge. If you've been to any of The Hop Bangkok's swing dance nights, you'll know what to expect, except this time they've gone bigger.

The crew has pulled together bands The Swing Bouncer and The Stumblers for a four-day shindig that combines live swing jazz with a Christmas market right by the water. So you can browse for last minute gifts, grab a bite and a drink, and throw in some dancing for good measure. It's the kind of setup where you can commit as much or as little as you fancy.

Each day kicks off with swing dance workshops, perfect if you've never tried it before and don't want to look completely lost on the dancefloor. After that, the live bands take over for social dancing sessions that run through the evening. The market side of things features vintage style presents and handmade bits from local makers, plus food and drink vendors serving throughout.

A single day pass costs B150, or you can grab a two day ticket for B270. Both include access to the market, dancefloor and all activities, plus you get a free workshop session and a B50 voucher to spend with any of the vendors.

The fest runs from 4pm-11pm on December 25 and 26, then shifts to midday starts on December 27 and 28, wrapping at 1pm.

Christmas Swing Fest takes place at Anunta Cafe and Bistro on the Thonburi side near Phuttha Bridge from December 25-28. Tickets at Ticketmelon here.
