The two-day event features handmade goodies, creative activities and free entry for all

The second Saturday of January marks National Children's Day in Thailand, and if you're after something fun to fill the weekend, there's a cracker on your doorstep.
Talad Dek Len happens on January 10-11 from 10am-6pm at GalileOasis Ratchathewi, and it's essentially a massive playground for kids and families in a park setting right in Ratchathewi. The whole thing is designed specifically for little ones, though let's be real, it's also spot on for anyone who wants to tap into their inner child for an afternoon.
This year's National Children's Day celebration packs in everything you need for a solid family day out. The market brims with craft stalls, adorable handmade bits, creative toys, crochet work, stickers, accessories and plenty of snack shops.
DIY and art workshops let kids create their own pieces, while drawing stations give families a chance to capture warm moments together. Cute photo corners pop up throughout the space and mascots wander around sparking smiles and giggles all day long.
One of the organisers says, 'We want to create a space where families can gather and children can play freely while exploring their creativity in a relaxed environment.'
No advance booking needed whatsoever and entry is completely free. And the event welcomes pets, so you can bring your dogs and cats along to join the fun. Your furry mates are more than welcome to be part of the action.
Talad Dek Len, GalileOasis Ratchathewi (BTS Ratchathewi, Exit 1), January 10-11, 10am-6pm.
