The daughter of a Filipina mother and a Brazilian father, Laila Bazham, has created this space where she cooks up a fusion of Southeast Asian and Latin American street food with realism, inspiration and coherence. The menu isn't lengthy but the plates are unusual for these parts, and a total hit: among them you'll find Philippine adobo mixed with pork jowls, or a pho soup made with oxtail.
There is a set lunch menu, and it features delicacies such as 'malay redang', a Malaysian stew made into a street sandwich with 'roti paratha', which is a soft Singapore bread similar to Indian naan. The space itself is minimalist and spacious while still managing to be cosy.
