On 26 and 27 September, Casal Saloio de Outeiro de Polima hosts Viva a Festa Saloia!, celebrating the European Heritage Days. With free entry, the event includes pottery, weaving, basketry and bread-making workshops, as well as traditional games, Vinho de Carcavelos tastings, folklore and historical re-enactments.
