Despite being ranked the best country in Asia for work-life balance, many debates have sparked over Singapore’s working culture, especially in recent years with a positive shift towards more openness regarding mental health issues. If you’re currently job-hunting – or are casually keeping your options open – and are hoping to score an option that might just let you retain more of your daily sanity and job satisfaction levels, it might be a good move to aim for companies in the Fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For Southeast Asia 2025 list.
According to Fortune, the selected companies “have intentionally built high-trust, high-performance cultures” and rank high on employee satisfaction. The results are based on confidential employee surveys, which include both open-ended and five-point scale questions related to various workplace aspects such as: leaders and whether they are honest; feeling respected, appreciated, and cared for as individuals; fairness in remuneration, opportunities, and promotions; and feeling proud of the company and the work they do.
Of the hundred, 32 top-rated companies have a presence in Singapore – that’s roughly one-third of the list. Among these are large international names we’re all familiar with: DHL (also #1 in all of Southeast Asia), Hilton, Visa, Shiseido, HP and more. Keep an eye out for upcoming opportunities, and who knows, your dream job might be around the corner.
