The virtual band’s Mountain Tour will kick at Manchester’s Co-op Live next spring, stopping by Cardiff, Liverpool, Belfast and more

After a short residency at east London’s Copper Box Arena in recent weeks ago, Gorillaz have announced that they’ll be back on stage very soon.
Coinciding with the release of their next album The Mountain – which features the likes IDLES, Gruff Rhys, Johnny Marr of the Smiths Anoushka Shankar, Sparks, Omar Souleyman and Bizarrap – the virtual band are heading on a full tour of the UK and Ireland next spring.
For the upcoming album, 2-D, Murdoc, Noodle and Russel Hobbs are in Mumbai having ‘turned [their backs] on international pop stardom’ and are ‘now immersed in the rhythms of mystical music-making, as they navigate the mountainous terrain of this thing called life’. The tracks span five languages –Arabic, English, Hindi, Spanish and Yoruba – and a couple of its collaborators will be appearing as special guests on the tour.

The band is heading on their UK tour in March 2026, with a follow-up London gig in June.
Gorillaz are set to play eight venues across the UK next spring and summer. They are:
Support in Glasgow, Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Liverpool and Belfast will come from Argentine rapper Trueno. In London, the opening acts will be Trueno and American pop duo Sparks.

For Glasgow, tickets to Gorillaz will cost between £87.65 and £99. Prices for the rest of the tour haven’t been revealed yet, but we can expect them to be fairly similar.
VIP packages for the Gorillaz gigs in Leeds, Birmingham, Liverpool and London will go on sale at the same time as standard tickets. You can explore your options on Seat Unique.
Once tickets have sold out, you’ll be able to get resale options on sites like Stubhub.
The Mountain is set for release the day before Damon Albarn and co tour the UK: March 20 2026.
