The three nightclubs, as well as RedTail Bar, will reopen by June

Party animals whose usual haunts are Zouk, Capital, and Phuture will have to take their raving elsewhere for the time being from mid-January onwards. As part of Zouk Group’s multi-phase revamp efforts in Singapore, the three nightclubs will be shutting their doors for extensive renovation works, and will reopen by June 2026 – just in time to celebrate its 35th anniversary.
According to Zouk Group, some of the upgrades that patrons can look forward to include spanking new concert-grade speaker systems, increased venue capacities, 12-metre-wide LED walls for extra vibes, and a more luxurious VIP experience. In particular, the refreshed version of Zouk Mainroom comes with a versatile transformable layout where acoustic walls can be shifted around as partitions or to expand its spaces for different types of events, from cosy, intimate performances to large-scale DJ sets. There will also be curated daytime programmes added to the mix, such as fashion pop-ups, wellness sessions, and even creative networking events.
In the meantime, take this chance to head down to Clark Quay for a final hurrah in the existing versions of these premises before their respective glow-ups. Capital will be closing first on January 17, while both Zouk and Phuture will still have programmes running till the end of March. Meanwhile, RedTail Bar’s temporary closure date has not been announced, but we’ve been told that it’ll also be host to daytime events once it’s ready for its new era.
While renovations are ongoing, nightlife-seekers can still visit Zouk’s other concepts like sultry Tokyo vice den-inspired cocktail bar Here Kitty Kitty, and French restaurant The Plump Frenchman.
